I grew up in a home where life was truly lived..
I remember the wooden parquet floor – marked by the heels of my mother’s friends as they danced late into the night.
The stone countertop – stained with red wine and cutting marks from slicing vegetables.
The window sills, where conversations stretched on, until the last drop of candle wax melted away.
My name is Luiza Anyszka and I am an architect.
I began my journey in design while still a student
at the Warsaw University of Technology.
First came internships, then professional work in architectural studios
in Poland (Bed&Breakfast, HRA Architects, COLOMBE Studio)
and the UK (HÁM Interiors).
For the past six years, I have been specializing in interiors for apartments
in pre-war tenements and historic houses.
These are spaces that bear the imprints of stories written over decades.
When designing them today – instead of masking their history with fresh paint,
I prefer to reveal and honor the beauty that lies beneath the dust.
So, if you…
also see the charm in what is old and unique,
prefer to repair rather than replace,
and value warmth, functionality, and tranquility in your home –
let’s create something together.
What do I love about interiors?
When I step into a pre-war townhouse, an old house with a garden,
or a crumbling palace – I feel like I’m traveling through time.
I feel a connection to the past, to the England of the 18th century,
or to Poland’s interwar period.
Modern buildings and white-gray furniture leave me unmoved.
I believe architecture and design should evoke emotion –
make you smile, bring nostalgia, stir reflection.
My Creative Manifesto
HISTORY
I love designing old interiors.
I treasure antiques discovered at flea markets.
I value pieces passed down through generations.
They already hold memories.
They invite you to add your own.
STONE & WOOD
I cherish the scratches on a wooden parquet floor.
Dance your story onto it.
I preserve a stone countertop with a chipped corner.
Knead your dough, spill your wine, set down your pots.
I restore wooden windows with preservation experts.
Safeguard the soul of an old building.
THE FULLNESS OF EVERYDAY LIFE
When the kitchen smells of apple pie cooling on a stone windowsill on a Sunday.
When you gather for dinner with family around a large oak table,
unbothered by the marks left by glasses – because the people around you matter more.
When you dance with your friends until dawn,
heels tapping on the wooden floor.
When you savor the moment.
When everything feels like it’s in its place.
And it feels like your place.
This is what a well-designed home looks like –
a place where stories write themselves.
