Filtry, Warszawa

Interior design project for Natalia Kusiak – influencer, traveler, and podcaster. The apartment was designed to become the perfect home after returning from numerous journeys. The project combines functionality with a unique style, reflecting the owner's personality and her passion for exploring the world. The apartment is located in a pre-war tenement in the historic Filtry district of Warsaw, and its style captures the modernized classicism characteristic of the 1920s, enriched with contemporary accents.

The entrance area is a statement of minimalist maximalism. The dominant burgundy color unifies the space, flowing seamlessly across the curved lines of the walls, ceiling, and cabinetry. A wallpaper designed by Olka Osadzińska and produced by LoveYourWall covers all the wardrobe doors, creating an extraordinary composition with star-patterned cement tiles.

The bedroom, hidden behind concealed doors, transports us to an enchanted garden, thanks to a wallpaper depicting a picturesque scene that envelops all the walls. Designed and custom-made by LoveYourWall, the wallpaper accentuates the unique character of the interior.

"I wanted to capture Natalia in this apartment as I see her – vibrant, bold, and unique.

Maximalism was the first reference I reached for. Every interior tells a story."

A painting by my sister, Aleksandra Anyszka-Orzechowska, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, was commissioned and created using the oil painting technique. The authenticity of materials was key to this project. Natural stone and wood give the interior a timeless character, making the apartment not just a place to live but also a story about its inhabitants.
